Ever-increasing traffic volumes, vehicle sizes, and increasingly serious overloading, together with traffic channelization, impose ever increasing quality requirements on road pavings. Under Xinjiang's harsh climate, featuring great temperature differences, freeze-thaw cycles, weathering and strong ultraviolet-induced material degradation, development of convenient ready-to-use modifiers for new-generation high-performance asphalt pavement has been carried out, leading to industrial production of new convenient ready-to-use modifier materials for high-performance asphalt pavement, as well as massive industrial paving projects demonstrating the utility of these high-performance asphalt pavings.
